After building his practice over the last five years with Thrivent and Barnum, David is finally where he wants to be—running his own shop, Angel Wealth Advisors. He can now truly deliver on his personal commitment to clients: providing honest, excellent counsel without any noise or ulterior motives getting in the way.

He believes everyone deserves help with their money, but he also recognizes his services are not for everyone. He is at his best when working with those who have urgent or outsized financial stress—nearing retirement, complex taxes, large portfolios—because this is where great advice can mean the difference between financial anxiety and peace of mind for the decades ahead.

To that end, David has designed his practice around knowing his clients and knowing his craft. Unlike other shops, where clients are treated like numbers on a spreadsheet, he first builds a personal relationship with each client—understanding what’s important to them and what they want. He then delivers a strategy that stays ahead of the markets, economy and financial trends to help his clients grow during the good times and be protected during the bad.

This has been years in the making. After honing his technical foundation with AXA Equitable, he learned to listen and serve others through seminary and pastoral work with Redeemer Presbyterian NYC. Today, it all comes together at Angel Wealth Advisors, combining his financial expertise with personal care to be that rarest breed of advisor—someone you can actually trust to deliver.

A lifelong New Yorker, he lives there with his wife, Valeriya, in Astoria, Queens. In his spare time, he enjoys snowboarding, traveling, and spending time with his daughter, Angelina, and her punky dachshund, Ernie.
